And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
Why a sexual health summit? Every day we are surrounded with images, videos, messages that makes us question and ponder the beliefs that Jesus taught centuries ago. Many have come to believe that the Bible is old fashion and no longer applicable in our modern day society where everything seems to now be the norm or acceptable. Parents, kids, families are all impacted and swayed by what we hear on a daily basis. Sadly, the church has also hurt many people without meaning to, sometimes simply not knowing how to respond to the constant pressures and changes that surround us all.

Course Description: The Gospel is the good news that God sent Jesus to deal with humanity’s sin. It is “the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.” In his letter to the Romans, the apostle Paul explains the Gospel as God’s plan to provide deliverance for sinful people from the penalty, power, and presence of sin through Christ’s sacrificial death. All God requires of us is to respond to His grace with faith and trust. Romans gives the clearest and most extensive explanation of what Jesus accomplished on the cross and how the Gospel has the power to change our daily lives.

In our society sexual missconduct and immorality are something natural and accepeted. The WILL world encourage our children to engage in their sexuality experimentation, hooking-up dates and multiple partners relationship. Well, it is not ok; God did not intended for us to do that.
Indeed it is a difficult subject; Sexual Sin.
Come and join us this Saturday March 25th. Our friend and teacher Layton Kerr will be sharing to us.

This is the last session of the Identity in Christ series. I have been very encouraged by the study and participation of the group.
Knowing the love and approval of God the Father creates in men a courage to do the will of God because they know that God is for them. It creates a confidence that “No matter what I see in my current circumstances, my Father is still at work"
Work is important, family is important, church is important. But, at some point we will cease to work, our families will make ther own families and we would stop going to church because of our age. But we are not done yet! if we have accepted Christ as our savior then our Identity is in him, nothing else. As long as we have breath in this body we are Ambassadors for Christ.

Email: Gustavo MillerFor this week we are encouraged to read: Genesis 8:12-17. Read this passage every day.
The study summarizes this study as “Everything you are seeking as a man, and everything that matters today and for all eternity comes in seeing yourself as a son of God”.
Last session we talked about in the different areas we look for our identity, though most of them are important: Work, Family and Education, finding our identity in money would not lead us to a good life. God told humanity the reason why he sent his son to this earth; so that we might have life in abundance; not in the context of money, possessions or education.

Email: Gustavo MillerFor this week we are encouraged to read: Genesis 32:22-32. Read this passage every day.
Identity is where we go to find our worth and value and purpose. It defines who we are. Identity is more than what you see on the outside of a man -it includes HOW he behaves, but it goes deeper. Identity is also the reason WHY he behaves in a certain way.
We spend a great deal of our lives building up our identity, we become Lawyers, Doctors, Architects and such. This is HOW we want the world to recognize us.

Session #3 teaches us about the consequences of our actions. Because of that Adam and Eve did the whole humanity was condemned. Ever since man has failed to worship and serve God, instead we serve ourselves and we ignore his decrees
Look forward to see you all and engage into a edifying discussion...

Our world nowadays, is flooded with sexual content and immorality. The world encourages our children to engage in their sexuality -to experiment, and that hooking-up is ok. Well, it is not ok.

Session #2 of Identity is about revealing the Image of God. Since the Fall we lost the intimacy and fellowship with God. But Jesus came to this world to save us and we can have a relationship with God if we choose to; Ephesians 4:22-24 it talks about being renewed, in fact is says to be "made new".
Look forward to see what God puts in our hearts next week.

Email: Gustavo MillerAll men! come and join us for a morning of fellowship as our brother and friend Jim Dods comes to share the word of God in the subject of Sexual Sin. The bible tells us:
Flee sexual immorality! “Every sin a person commits is outside of the body” —but the immoral person sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God with your body.

Most of you know I am involved with Promise Keepers. I have been bringing people in addictions to different events for quite sometime. It does not look like we are meeting in person anytime soon, but need to work with what we have, for now. I have been invited to an Anger workshop.
This topic is as sensitive as the topic of Pornography, none of us wants to acknowledge it, and perhaps we don't have anger, and that is great but, but we all have conflicts at some point in our lives that may trigger a violent response. We live in an era of "safety first", why not taking this step in our lives?
I will be participating in this group, if any of you is interested please visit this page

Belong conferences started, in 2018, as a way for local churches to be prepared to welcome into their church families groups who have been traditionally marginalized. This April, NCM will be offering an interactive workshop at this conference. The goal will be to get people thinking about the challenges people coming out of jail have when they have little or no support. There are some who leave jail with the clothes on their backs, 3 days worth of their medication, an appointment at Canada Works and ONE bus ticket. What can we do to make them feel that they Belong?
Contact Dave or Jill if you would like further info. Or find the conference page on Facebook. (613) 225-5900
